![]() ![]() You are straight up wrong about Hyperious, he's one of the best bosses (if not the best) in the game. They are better than your average purple and you don't have to random farm for them. Don't think of seraph items as 'better' than legendaries. But some of the areas have come to be some of my favorites in the game. If you do, awesome! But it's not set in stone. You're not guaranteed to get oranges or legendaries from anything. ![]() As far as the loot goes, I mean the loot in the game has always been random. I agree the boss fights were a bit too easy (barring one stupid issue I had with Leviathan, which was my own fault, not the game's), and the regular enemies were a bit tough, but not to a point where it bothered me. I thought it felt refreshingly different enough from the core game to feel like "Something New", but not so drastically different that it felt like something completely out of left field. The loot was a little disappointing, but I got a couple neat things out of it. I thought it was funny, the characters incredibly memorable, the settings were fun, the enemies new and refreshing (I quite liked the Whalers/Anchormen/Etc). Needless to say, I was shocked when I absolutely LOVED this DLC. Maybe it was the incredibly sour taste left in my mouth from Skyrim's DLC, Dawnguard (which I felt really ripped off by), but I really didn't have much in the way of high expectations here. This is on xbox as a level 50 gunzerker, with some decent weapons. On the flip side the dialogue is pretty funny, and had me laughing a good part of the time which is almost redeeming enough to make up for the rest of it but I cant help feeling like I was sold a product that was rushed and poorly done. Maybe the Knoxx armoury spoiled me and raised my expectations too high but this was just a let down. ![]() There was a dozen chests and nothing but some blues and an epic, although the effort it took to get here should have been a give away that the loot would be shit I had heard good things about finding legendaries in these chests. I didn't rush through it but I only got a couple hours at most out of it, I have yet to do the side quests so hopefully they can be somewhat redeeming. The dlc area is HUGE which would be awesome, if it were anything other than sand, and the main quest leaves much to be desired. The only boss that seems challenging is Hyperius (I have yet to kill him and haven't seen the other raid boss yet) but its not even a good type of challenge, its stupid hard. I'm dying over and over trying to get the boss, and barely breaking a sweat during boss fights. The bosses are just plain sad, and it feels like they made the regular enemies too tough. They also used Badass Loaders at seemingly every point where they felt there should have been some form of tough enemy to overcome. Enemies feel recycled and there are only a couple that actually seem new. There are hit boxes left all around from the terrain to get stuck on, or that cause you to run up into the air. I decided to shell out a couple bucks to get the captain scarlet dlc and I was wondering if anyone else was really let down by the quality of it.
